Welcome to Afterlight, a human/vampire/werewolf role-play. It is loosely based on Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, but if you haven't read the books that's okay. Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good summer :3 I know things are still kind of hectic with school and whatever, but hopefully we can get some activity going soon. Welcome to all of our wonderful new members! Feel free to create all kinds of plots or whatever you want <3

Welcome to all the new members, and welcome back to certain people who have been on vacation :3 Summer is here, and we all have crazy new plots and characters simmering in our brains. I'm looking forward to a summer of wonderfulness, though of course everyone will have lives on the side as well :3 Have fun.

Okay, so we had a little bout of inactivity (gasp), but now everyone is returning and role-play has commenced again. :3 We have a lovely new member, Helena, who has been making many wonderful charries -applause-

The monthly awards voting has been created, and will proceed throughout December, with the winners being posted in January :3 Please vote in the poll. We also have a new board, the Virtual Room, where you can post in parallel worlds, and even role-play yourself. ^^ There is an Epic Gathering going on, to get us started.

I've almost finished the To-Do list for the site. :3 There is now an Activity Check, so make sure you visit that thread, members. Plus, we have a Halloween Dance coming up at Lamdon High, so make sure all your student characters (and maybe a few guests) attend. There is a poster thread in the Lamdon High forum, thanks to Razor. Also thanks to Razor, we have some lufferly little icons for the sidebar, if you'd care to scroll down and look.

I am officially going to update the site. -nodnod- Immediately after typing this (lest I forget), I am going make myself a to-do list, which I shall follow. And it shall be nice and pretty, and we shall have lots of activity again. :3

I was a very good little admin today. I updated the footer to accomodate all the lovely advertising I did (-purrs-), and I changed our advertisment to include the new plot. Only, I did that after I got us a bunch of affiliates .___o Anyway...
Activity has been a bit low lately. I know very well that it's summer and you all might, just might have lives outside of RP (-GASP!-). Just come back when you're done :3

THE BEAST: Calling: Craven Allendoe Age: Craven was turned into a vampire at 17 juring the year 1929. So he's technically 96 years old. Gender: Male Species: Vampire
Apperance: Craven has shaggy blonde hair, that is almost as washed out as his pale skin. His eyes are also very pale because he is blind. So instead of the golden yellow eyes of a normal vegetarian vampire his are a pale sunshine yellow, and a murky onyx when he is thirsty. Craven is very thin and tall, unlike most vampires. He looks very fragile and not very muscular at all. Though that doesn't mean he lacks the ability. His appearance is very spider like because of his long thin limbs. This gets him teased sometimes, but he makes up for it in speed. His vampire senses have helped Craven regain a normal life and no one, except fellow vampires, knows he is actually blind. He likes to wear reading glasses, even though he doesn't need them. He says its a fashion statement, but he never told anyone what that statement was. He usually wears black jeans with button down collar shirts. He only buys black jeans so that he knows, whatever color the shirt is, it will match. He usually folds up the sleeves of his shirt and looks calm 24/7.
Personality: Craven is a vegetarian vampire even though he was taught the rules of vampire life by a non-vegetarian vampire. He just didn't see the sence in killing what he used to be. Thats also why he will never turn a human. He likes to read, enjoys playing stupid pranks, and hates werewolves. He thinks its a game and finds it funny that they lose there temper so easily. Craven being one who is patient can't understand how werewolves lack in that department. His only friends are Katalin, who'm he met so very long ago, and Heidi, the only other member of his coven. He is very loyal to them. He depends on Heidi's help since he is blind, and she loves dressing him up like he is her toy. However, Craven has some blood issues. He beleives he loves it more then he should and that he is a monster. He hides his fears and lets himself suffer like this alone.
History: After being born in 1912 America,and living through the hard years before the Great Depression, becoming a vampire was a sort of blessing. The vampire who bit Craven was gone when he woke after his transformaton. He wandered around lost and confused until he met Katalin, who taught him about what he was and the rules. Despite her encouragement to drink human blood he never did. After four years with Katalin he left her wanting to set out on his own. Though whenever they meet, they meet as friends. It has been a decade since there last encounter. In that time Craven found Heidi. A vampire who was in the same predicimetn he had been in. She became a vampire with no one to teach her the ways. He taught her and now they are a coven.
THE BEAUTY: Mate: None Miniatures: None Alliance: Crimson Pentagram Specialty: Craven is blind. He was since he was a little kid. His vampire senses arn't the only thing that helps him get along. He can see the heat that the body gives off. So he can see peple and animals as blobs of red. Sexuality: Straight Others: He is a vegetarian vampire and has hardly ever had human blood.
