Welcome to Afterlight, a human/vampire/werewolf role-play. It is loosely based on Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, but if you haven't read the books that's okay. There are no canon characters here, and the setting is the town of Lamdon (a little like Forks ;3). We currently have a plot in motion; click here for more information.

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good summer :3 I know things are still kind of hectic with school and whatever, but hopefully we can get some activity going soon. Welcome to all of our wonderful new members! Feel free to create all kinds of plots or whatever you want <3

Welcome to all the new members, and welcome back to certain people who have been on vacation :3 Summer is here, and we all have crazy new plots and characters simmering in our brains. I'm looking forward to a summer of wonderfulness, though of course everyone will have lives on the side as well :3 Have fun.

Okay, so we had a little bout of inactivity (gasp), but now everyone is returning and role-play has commenced again. :3 We have a lovely new member, Helena, who has been making many wonderful charries -applause-

I've almost finished the To-Do list for the site. :3 There is now an Activity Check, so make sure you visit that thread, members. Plus, we have a Halloween Dance coming up at Lamdon High, so make sure all your student characters (and maybe a few guests) attend. There is a poster thread in the Lamdon High forum, thanks to Razor. Also thanks to Razor, we have some lufferly little icons for the sidebar, if you'd care to scroll down and look.

I am officially going to update the site. -nodnod- Immediately after typing this (lest I forget), I am going make myself a to-do list, which I shall follow. And it shall be nice and pretty, and we shall have lots of activity again. :3

I was a very good little admin today. I updated the footer to accomodate all the lovely advertising I did (-purrs-), and I changed our advertisment to include the new plot. Only, I did that after I got us a bunch of affiliates .___o Anyway...
Activity has been a bit low lately. I know very well that it's summer and you all might, just might have lives outside of RP (-GASP!-). Just come back when you're done :3

Appearance; Standing six feet tall, Chogan is quite tall for his age. His eyes are a chocolaty colour with matching black hair that has a faint shade of dark brown in it. He was born tan because of his father's native american ethnicity. He often wears an apathetic expression on his face, but there are times when you can find him smiling his characteristic, very boyish, cheeky smile. His muscles are well-developed, but not too much. His clothing is nothing to brag of; usually, he puts on a t-shirt and a pair of worn and dirty jeans without really caring about how it looks. In his wolf form, Chogan is smaller than most. This is because of his young age; he is still a whelp. His fur is dark brown with a few pale marks on the back, the chest, the right side of his neck and on his hindquarters. His eyes are yellow, whereas they are a chocolate brown colour in his human form. He always looks alert as a wolf, even when he is relaxing. The only exception is when he is asleep -- that is the only time that he looks truly peaceful.
Personality; Chogan used to be an outgoing person. He was very sociable, and he loved to spend time with his friends. This changed, though, when his mother left him and his father, and he discovered that he was a werewolf. After that event he became an introverted and, at times, somewhat bitter teenager. He's having a hard time getting over the loss of his mother, and it makes him angry because he wants to be like his father. On the outside, Chogan's father seems very strong, but deep inside, he's suffering; he's just very good at hiding his emotions. Chogan doesn't know that; he believes that his father is a very brave and strong man--and he wants to be like that, too. Chogan enjoys drawing a great deal, and he's sort of good at it, too. Mostly he draws animals but once in a while he breaks that habit. He also loves to climb, because it keeps him occupied, and makes him think about the climbing instead of his mother. His relationship with his father is not exactly awesome. His father doesn't talk much anymore, and 'sides, he and Chogan has absolutely (almost) nothing in common. It makes Chogan feel a bit lonely, because then he has no-one to talk to. Chogan's characteristic smile is rare. He never smiles to people he don't know, and there aren't that many people he know that he wants to smile at. But when he's smiling that cheeky and boyish smile, you know that he is truly happy as long as the smile lasts. When he had friends, he liked to tease them. All the time. He made jokes about everything and nothing, and he was known as "the witty one." He had, and still has, a preference for sarcasm. He used it all the time, and still does. When he get to speak, at least. He is not experienced when it comes to love, not at all. He has never had a girlfriend, and, to be honest, he has never wanted one. His thinks that it would be way too demanding and a waste of time to have one. He has other stuff to worry about. He is easily annoyed by people, and people must think that he is quite annoying as well. He's not the company you'd choose 'cause he's usually very grumpy, and leaves an atmosphere of gloom and sulkiness. He likes to be the one who's right, and he is kind of a know-all. He tend to lose his temper if people keep disagreeing with him, or if they annoy him a lot. After becoming a werewolf he's been trying to control himself in those situations, and just walk away, but in the past he sometimes got into fights. But something that really characterises Chogan Dakila Velásquez is his curiosity. If it was to him, he'd say that he needs to know everything. Everything. People who's got a curiosity like Chogan's are rare. Very rare.
History; Chogan's mother, Josephine Pendleton, is from Great Britain. She met his father, the native american werewolf Ajacopa Velásquez, on a trip to the United States. Josephine had only known Ajacopa for one week when she decided to stay, because she had fallen in love with him. He, too, liked her a great deal, but he knew that she wasn't "the one", because he hadn't imprinted on her. Imprinting was very rare, and Ajacopa reasoned that it wasn't very likely that he'd ever imprint on anyone, so he decided to stay with Josephine. One year later, she got pregnant. She and Ajacopa were as happy as can be. She gave birth to a little boy, and they named him Chogan Dakila. Chogan grew up in Lamdon on the Reserve with his family. He was a very happy little boy, and was friends with nearly everyone on his age. It was a few months after his fourteenth birthday that his happiness was shattered. Josephine, his mother, had been cheating on Ajacopa, his father. When Ajacopa found out about this, he got so mad he almost shifted into his wolf form in front of the ignorant Josephine. Miraculously, he controlled himself, and instead he ran out of the house, and into the woods, where he let his anger and fury transform him into the huge werewolf he was. He didn't come back for days. Meanwhile, Josephine had been thinking. She concluded that this small town she had been living in for about sixteen years was way too boring for her taste, and that she didn't love Ajacopa anymore. She was packing her stuff two days after Ajacopas disappearance, when Chogan came back from a three day long hiking trip. He was shocked to see his mother packing, and he asked her what the heck she was doing. She explained rapidly to him that she was moving back to England for a few months on a business trip, and that she would be back as soon as possible. Lies. But Chogan didn't know that; he thought she spoke the truth. He told her goodbye, and he didn't understand why she was crying. She said it was because she was really excited about her new job. Chogan had to take care of himself for three more days before Ajacopa finally returned. Ajacopa wasn't surprised to see that Josephine had gone back to England, but from that day it was like part of him had died. Chogan lived in ignorance for another three weeks, believing that his mother would be back someday. But then his father told him that she would not be back. Not ever. Chogan got so mad that he metamorphosed into a werewolf. He almost injured his father in his rage, confusion and fear. Fear for the monster he had turned into. When he had calmed down, he got the whole shape-shifter story from his father. He stopped spending time with his friends, and became quite a loner.

He works in solitude (so far). x] Specialty; He's good at taking action right away on demanding and critical situations; he doesn't need much time for thinking things through. He's also great at drawing and climbing in trees. Sexuality; Straight. Others; None.
Very nice :3 Only, when you are describing his personality, you say that he has never had a girlfriend, and during the history he almost transformed in front of his girlfriend. So fix that either way, and he's accepted ^^
Oops, maybe I didn't make that clear. It was his father, Ajacopa, who almost transformed in front of his girlfriend, Chogan's mother. :] I'll try and change it into something more understandable. ^__^
