``` A scandalous doing has left a few bloodstains on the marble floors of King's hallowed halls. The body of a murdered girl, bound and gagged, was found lying oh so suspiciously on the school's grand staircase. Who was the girl, you ask? Fourth year Claire Devereux -- first chair violinist, Queen of the Royals, and shoe-in for Julliard. The mystery isn't how she died, it's who did it and why? Oh, yeah, and why was she at the school during summer break, anyway?
While students return to King's as normal, suspicion is running rampant. The tension between the cliques is worse than ever. The question on everyone's lips is, who killed Queen Claire? There is one major suspect in the case, at least in the eyes of the Institute students. This is one rumor that even the Grapevine isn't responsible for and, despite the school administration and British authority's best efforts, can't be dispelled. According to the students, it wasn't one person that killed Miss Devereux, but an entire group. The blood belongs on the hands of The Terriers.
That's only rumor, of course, since no one has ever been able to prove they exist in the first place. Even, well, most of the staff consider it a foolish rumor started by a bored individual to entertain themselves. The authorities won't even look into it. But could the Terriers really be behind it? Or are they merely witnesses to a crime and won't come forward? Do they even exist at all? In this time of murder, lies, and secrets, will the King Institute be able to survive and hold it's head up once again?
