THE BRAIN; Nickname; Helena How did you find us? ...
THE BEAST;
Calling; Megan Elizabeth Bluebird (goes as Rain) Age; appears to be 17 or 18 but is really 289 years old Gender; female Species; vampire
Appearance; Standing five feet seven inches and weighing 122 pounds, Rain is an average and beautiful girl. Her chest is relatively normal, a b-cup, and her figure is curvy yet petite. Her hair is a long and flowing raven color with bangs cut straight across her forehead. Her skin is a pale olive color---a mix between olive and ivory---due to her Cherokee heritage. Rain's cheekbones are held high on her face, her lips full and lush. Her perfectly arched eyebrows frame beautiful icy blue eyes that turn a deep navy when thirsty. She has no need of mascara, for her eyelashes are long and thick, but she sometimes applies a bit of eyeliner to make those eyes pop. Her scent is different from regular vampires. It's a mix of newly-fallen rain and lavender.
Personality; Rain is a relatively normal person... eh, vampire. She is kind and loving, but fiery and tempered. She has done well over the years to control her anger and bring out the compassionate side of her, and it has worked. Now, she only gets violent when pushed to the edge.
History; Rain was born April 3, 1720. Her father was German and her mother was half Irish, half Cherokee. From the beginning, they were exiled from the others. Her family were called freaks and ghouls. Rain tried desperately to fit in, but never prevailed. No one wanted to play with the 'dog'. She cried in her room at night when she was alone. Every night, and every day. She mourned her loneliness.
When she was about 17 years old, Rain was eating supper with her mother and father when they heard a low murmur outside. Within seconds the murmuring became louder and louder and too late did they realize it was a mob coming to their house. They killed her parents and burnt the house down. While Rain was escaping, a beautiful man with alluring red eyes took her hand. She gasped at the cold, hard feeling of it as he pulled her into his arms. He ran off at the speed of light and before she could even blink, they were safe in the woods.
He told her that he came to save her, when she replied that he did, he said 'No, I mean save you.' And with that, his cold lips caressed her wrists, his tongue circling the veins. He sunk his teeth into it and she opened her mouth to scream, but no sound would come out. After that, she blacked out.
In the darkness, there was a fire. But the heat wasn't pleasant, it was harsh and cruel. It burned her insides and made her want to scream, but she held quiet for she remembered the angry mob, her dying parents, her burning house. So she laid there, in her burning agony, and awaited the end she so wished would come.
When she woke, she could see everything, hear everything, feel everything. Especially the white hot pain burning in her esophagus. A wonderful smell breezed past her nostrils and Rain sat upright. Her head instinctively whipped toward the east and she caught sight of a dead mountain lion. It's blood was still hot and fresh, she realized as she bit greedily into it, slurping down the refreshing blood. She heard a snapping noise and lept up, snarling to the woods. A man, much like the one who changed her only with topaz eyes, walked cautiously out into the open. He had his palms up, and Rain felt a cooling sensation across her skin. He told her that there was another life than the one that was supposed. She asked him what he meant and he told her. That's where her journey began.
His name was Jace. Notice my choice of words. He was loving and kind, much like Rain herself. He taught her to hunt, to find gazelle from miles away, how to control her hunger so she could be amoung the humans. She learned willingly, not wishing to kill humans.
He died one day to werewolves. They were out hunting when a nearby pack attacked. Rain escaped, using her newly awakened powers, but Jace wasn't so lucky. Rain did not mourn his death, instead she continued to strive, as she knew he would want.
So hundreds of years later, she is here today. Living her existence as it should be.
