Melody smiled at Joelle "its a werewolf thing, you'll see" she plopped down to the ground and sat. It wasn't long before Dione popped up not a hundred feet away. She looked up at her. "Holy shit, what happened to you?" Melody gaped. Dione must have been pretty hurt if there was still blood covering her and she hadn't slept. She was usually clothed in the most expensive, designer clothing. Right now it looked like she had been at a party drunk out of her mind and somehow fallen alseep here. Melody could smell no others, just Dione's blood, with a mix of someone else's of which she did not reconise. Melody truthfully had no idea what time it was, she was a little awe-struck to even igknowlage her next question. "I came to your for assistance. You see, the halloween dance is tonight and we have nothing to wear" she looked at Joelle. "I was hoping you could help me with finding a costume" she pouted out her bottom lip and put on a puppy dog face, which wasn't hard for a werewolf. She had no idea what Dione was thinking about Joelle right now. she wasn't usualy hostile but she seemed like she was in a bad mood, Melody shifted infront of Joelle.

::Seeing the woman approaching and noting how horrible she looked, curious Joelle opened her ears all the way to catch the answer. To be honest, it seemed a little silly to her to be asking this messy-haired woman for her help, when it was obvious she couldn't help herself, but she wouldn't say anything just now, because if she did and the lady got offended, she wouldn't help them, and her help [however shitty] was better than none at all. Joelle, who had no idea that this was also a werewolf despite what Melody had just said, didn't understand why the doll had moved protectively in front of her. That annoyed her a little, to tell the truth. First she had been carried here, like some kind of invalid, and now she needed protection from sleepy, badly-dressed women. With pale eyes narrowed, the albino pressed her lips tightly together and waited to see what the response would be.::

"The best sex of my life," Dione replied with a dreamy sign of sarcasm, before growling softly, "Zetsu and I attacked the Dyami studmuffins yester-evening. Actually, she insisted on playing with the younger one first, as you saw," she grinned in a lop-sided, maniacal sort of way. "Anyway, we were interrupted ..." she glanced at the human, who obviously knew nothing about anything. She'd explain to Melody later. Nose twitching at the strange human scent, she asked in a low voice, "A snack?"
The little werewolf then began to yammer bout a Halloween Dance. Yes, Dione had heard of it, and planned to go despite the fact that she was a little old. However, she had lost track of time lately, and was surprised to discover that the event was so soon. "Tonight? Huh." Dione yawned again, and pondered the situation. She was a little pissed at Melody for not showing up last night (admittedly, there was no reason for her to after Dione had sent her that mental image, but anyway), but then again, she was pleased for being summoned to help with clothing. She knew she was the most stylish of the Moonlight Eclipse, but it was nice to get some recognition all the same. "Alright. What did you plan to go as?"

Melody's lips pulled back in a growl, more out of pain than anger. "CRUEL UNUSUAL PUNISHMET!" she barked. "I never wanted to see that, how dare you poision the mind of a child!" she covered her eyes and fell onto the ground dramaticaly. She hit the ground with a small splash, the snow under her was beggining to form a rather large puddle. She eyed Dione, her attention was focused on Joelle, human Joelle. When she had remarked her as being a snack Melody jumped up, not knowing if she was joking or not. Her lips curled back over her teeth and she snarled. Most likely she would be crushed if a fight broke out between them so she tried to clam herself down. "No, this is Joelle, my very special friend, not a snack so back off!" she pulled her lips back down as she spoke. Feeling sort of guilty for what she had just said to Dione, her fellow pack member Melody looked at the ground. She really didn't deserve much at this point. "Well I was kind of thinking about going as a vampire" she smiled faintly. "But that dosn't matter..." she trained off. "Joelle" she adressed her special friend. "Do you know what you want to go as?" she smiled kindly. She eyed Dione now and again, she wouldn't go after her, would she, she was half human after all. Some how she doubted she could kill a human girl and eat her. She had to be better than Zetsumei, even though they shared the same blood, right?

::The conversation the two werewolves were exchanging was hard for Joelle to follow, though she did her best. She was able to pick out one thing quite clearly.
A snack? What the hell! she thought to herself, beginning to inwardly panic. She took a step backward, the hard expression on her face melting. When Melody stood back up and again placed herself between Jo and the other woman, she was quite grateful. It took a minute for her train of thought to go from fearing for her life to think about what she wanted to dress up as for a party.
"Pirate? No, that's so cliché. Uh, how about a witch. No no, an Arabian belly-dancer, with lots of bells," Jo said excitedly, imagining it. Her excitement dwindled down when she remembered who it was who was helping them, how she didn't look like she had much as far as clothing went. A belly-dancer was probably impossible.
"Or whatever," she added lamely, not wanting to sound like she had gotten her hopes up. More than just it being out of her range, there was something about the woman that made Joelle feel insignificant, and knowing that this was a friend of Melody's, she knew she couldn't attack her, tearing her down to build herself up, but not saying anything was awful. She didn't really know what to do. Caring about someone else's feelings made things so complicated.::

Cackling like a hyena, Dione observed Melody's pain with absolutely no sympathy. Innocent child, huh? That was new. She was indeed joking about the snack comment ... sort of. Dione liked to play with her food, and the actual eating of it wasn't of much interest to her; she enjoyed messing with their minds more than anything. "Nice to meet you," she replied, showing her fangs for a little added effect.
Dione let out another bark of laughter at Melody's costume idea. Oh, she'd help with that. Immediately she began to think of sequined capes, and fishnets; she had some of those, somewhere in her stash. She listened to the human bantering with a lofted eyebrow, wondering how anyone could possibly go from terrified-of-becoming-a-meal to excited for an upcoming dance that fast. She had to admit, the bellydancer idea was quite good. "Well, then, my little tulips, follow me to my lair, and we'll see what we can find." She grinned at them, before darting off into the forest.
Although still in human form, she could run fast, and expected Melody to make her friend keep up. It wasn't Dione's problem if she brought a human who moved slowly. She paused only once to shake herself off, like a wet dog; which she was, considering that she had been lying in melting snow for some time. After a short time, she arrived at a little cabin in the middle of the woods. This was where she Zetsu lived, and where Dione kept all her clothes. Sometimes she slept there, but most of the time she liked to take advantage of the great outdoors. Being a city werewolf was a little difficult sometimes.
"Anybody home?" she asked Zetsu's mind, sniffing for her cousin. It didn't much matter, as she could let herself in, but she liked to know ahead of time if anyone was there.

Melody streached herself out. She loved the outdoor's, even if it was snowying a crappy out most of the time. she watched as Dione took off. She was heading to Zetsu's place no doubt. It was a quaint, out of the way home. A little forest cabin kind of. Melody did have a choice to stay there but she much rather live like a real wolf. Even though the real wolves around here were terrifyed of her, she hadn't the slightest idea why. She turned to Joelle "lets go" she smiled and started walking, keeping human pace. Zetsu's house wasn't very far away, they could walk human pace. It should only take a few minutes. Once arriving at Zetsumei's place Melody remained quiet, unsure if she was there or not. Indeed, Zetsu was there. "Come in" she called weakly from the bathroom. Poor alphess Zetsumei was sick. She had no idea what kind of virus it was, or where she contracted it either. All she knew was she couldn't keep anything down, she was most hungry, and she was unbearably tired. She stood up weakly and walked to the door. "Dione, Melody" she greeted with a smile. She smiled also at the human woman. She had to apper somewhat better than her condition really was.

::Still feeling quite out of her element, Joelle followed silently, like an obedient dog trained to stay at his master's heel. What she really felt like doing was wrapping her arm around Melody's waist, or grabbing her hand, or having some kind of physical contact with her that would make the wild-haired woman jealous of the two of them and their connection. This was really quite stupid, as she and the doll-like teen really didn't have as much of a connection as the werewolves did, and she never would. She was the third wheel and she knew it. Joelle schemed silently, trying to come up with some kind of plan to make herself seem better than the older werewolf.
She was so busy attempting to come up with a plan that she was hardly aware of her surroundings and didn't even notice how cute the little forest house was, or the long-haired woman who emerged from it's friendly greeting. She didn't realize how frequently she was shivering, or that her dirty finger nails and lips had turned bluish from the cold. Her pale grey eyes twitched back and forth, giving a hint to just how quickly she was forcing the gears of her brain to turn. Unless someone said her name or a bomb went off, Jo would remain in this trance-like state of thought. It was very important to her to be better than everyone else, after all. If she wasn't a somebody, she was a nobody, and Joelle didn't want to be a nobody again.::

Sure enough, Zetsu came to answer the door. She was smiling, and somehow didn't look quite herself. However, Dione was on a mission, and had other things to think about. "Hello darling," she replied, letting herself in. "It appears that we are in need of vampire and bellydancers costumes." This was her way of explaining the situation, as she wandered into the room she had been given. There was only an old sofa for a bed, when she chose to sleep there; the rest of the room was basically a closet. Expensive, designer clothing was strewn in piles everywhere, in a completely random mix of casual, dressy, undies, and accessories. "There has to be something here." she muttered to herself, and began rummaging in a pile that had a large amount of black clothing. Vampire, vampire, vampire, She began a mantra in her head, concentrating on finding the perfect costume.

+ Melody took hold of Joelle's hand absently mindedly. She watched as Dione flipped through clothing articles. A belly-dancer, hmmm" she scratched her ear and went of to her closet. Most of her clothng was skimpy and tiny, nothing too flashy. Maybe if she combined a short skirt and tube top with some sequined material Dione had. "Dione, do you have anything shiny?" the black haired fea inquired. She began to scan through her wardrobe in search of a small top. It was for the human girl, there was no way Melody would go with such a revealing costume choice. She was roughly Zetsumei's size and should have no problem fitting into her clothing. Little wolf watched intently. The other two wolves whipped through clothing at a pace most quick. She pulled Joelle closer to her gently. She recived a strange look from Zetsumei so she gripped her hand, not hard, just possesivly. Melody liked the feel of Joelle's hand. She looked at it and touched it with her other hand aswell. Her nails were dirty but her hand was smooth. She wondered if all human's felt this way or if it was just her. She stroaked her hand softly and started at it intently. Almost like she was studying it.

::At the little werewolf's warm touch, thousands of pink butterflies, some the hue of Joelle's hair and some Melody's, erupted forth from some hidden crevice within Jo's torso and fluttered through-out her innards, tickling her various organs. Giggling, she kissed Mel on the cheek, her cold lips landing as lightly as one of those faerie-wingéd insects. Joelle was so used to taking matters into her own hands that she hadn't even considered that her friend might be the first to reach out. It was a nice feeling, to be getting what she wanted without having to take it. Pity the two women were so busy looking for clothes that they wouldn't notice them together. Joelle willed them both to look up, to envy her the same way the albino was so envious of all of those in the world who had happiness when she had had none.::

"Do I have something shiny? Really, Zetsu darling, I thought you knew me better." Dione snickered, and then imitated a French accent, "Mais oui, but of course, I have zee shiny fabric!" It actually wasn't that bad of an imitation, as she had travelled in France quite a bit in her modelling days, and had managed to learn a few handy phrases. She'd left the rest to her agent and the various other people assigned to look after her during her stay. As she said this, something very shiny indeed caught Dione's eye, and she immediately pounced upon it, as she would to a poor, innocent deer if she was out hunting.
"AHA!" she proclaimed, unearthing a roll of glittering, violently lime-green material. It had a light, veil-like weight, and Dione suspected it would work very well in many ways for a bellydancer costume. Unceremoniously, she tossed it out into the hallway, without looking behind her for breakables such as human beings and lamps, while hollering, "Does ze mademoiselle like?" She wasn't sure if she was talking to Zetsu or the human girl; she didn't even care if Melody answered. Dione was on a mission, and was tapping into the energy she reserved for when she was extremely tired, but had an immediate fashion crisis to attend to; this happened quite often.
Speaking of which, she still needed a vampire-like something. She dived into the mound of black, cotton-poly goodness, searching for it. Dione would know once she saw it. All she knew now was that she was looking for something that fit into the human ideals of vampires. She herself knew that vampirse were much better at appearing human-like than they got credit for. Therefore, if Melody was going to look like a 'vampire' for a human Dance, she needed to look like Dracula's daughter, for instance. A cape would be nice. Perhaps with a short, black dress ... There ought to be some red somewhere. Maybe boots?
"BWHAHAHA!" she cackled maniacally, pulling out exactly what she wanted from the pile. There was a short, black, halter dress, and a pair of thigh-high, black boots, complete with red laces. She tossed these out in the same way she had with the shiny fabric, this time exclaiming, "The ickle vampy-poos will like that, if any bother to show up," all she needed now was a cape. She procured a short one, only elbow-length, so that it was more like a shawl; however, it was black with red lining, and had a high collar. This time, she emerged from her closet-room, hoping that the pair would try these things on.

+ Melody smiled weakly and patted Joelle's hand. Her human skin felt so soft, so delicate. Every possible warning went off in her head. "Don't hurt her, don't flinch, be careful" she chanted to herself. "Ooo Dione, you fail me not" Zetsu grinned. She gently picked up the material and fondled it for a moment. "Will this do... I don't believe I caught your name pink haired woman" she looked at the human, and then at Melody. "Does she know?" she asked her, regarding their werewolf gene. Three werewolves and one human. Great. "Yes she does" Melody replied cooly. "Ah, Human girl" Zetsu chuckled. Melody shot backwards at Dione's laugh. She was happy she had found a costume... but why the laughter. "They better show up, I don't want to go as a friggen vampire for nothing" she grimanced. She re adjusted her hand onto Joelle's. "Sorry" she muttered for jumping back. Melody eyed the costume that Dione had picked out for her. "Well thats a little... to showing..." she thought. Zetsumei burst into laughter.

::"I'm Joelle," she said loudly after a moment's hesitation. She had been waiting for Melody to say something, as these were her friends and Jo was the new one and it just seemed like she should have introduced her. Whatever. Jo didn't really need the tiny werewolf to do everything for her, and though she was uncomfortable here, being the only human, she did not feel quite as frightened as she had before.
Gently, the albino ran her fingers over the shiny fabric. It was cool and silky; the opposite of the firm heat her other hand was feeling.
"I do like. This'll be great," Jo responded, daring to briefly make eye contact with the wild-haired woman. It seemed to her that she was glowing, she was so full of self-confidence. Joelle wished that she could be the same way, but how could she when she didn't know anything about werewolves and their way of life, not to mention being around other women generally lowered her self-esteem anyway. Mel was an exception only because she was more kid than woman. Kids Jo liked, but women were bitches, and unless she was looking for a fight Joelle tried to stay away.
"After you change, could I use the safety pins you're using to hold up my costume? I don't think there's enough time to actually sew anything," said the pink-haired human softly, into Melody's ear.::

Dione purred, satisfied at her success. "Oh they will ... They must see what a lovely representation of a blood-sucker you will be!" Almost hopping up and down, she gleefully clapped her hands together like a little schoolgirl. Fashion made her happy; it was almost orgasmic. "And it's supposed to be showy, toots. Maybe the vamps will pick up a few pointers." Not realising that she had answered the mental statement out loud, she laughed again, grinning wolfishly at the Joelle. Her hair would go marvellously with that green-coloured fabric. Ah, clothes. Dione tingled happily at the thought of the wonderful outfits she had put together.
Speaking of which, Dione recalled that she was looking somewhat less than sexy at the moment. Looking down, her worst fears were confirmed - her outfit was completely blah, and as if that weren't enough, it was extremely wet, since she had been lying in the snow in it. Although she had only just exited her closet-like room, she immediately turned to re-enter it, desperately searching for something more acceptable. Not caring that the door was open and an innocent human girl was present, she proceeded to strip down and rummage through her clothes. After a few moments, she re-emerged wearing a black turtleneck, and a dark pair of skinny jeans that looked like they had been painted on her. Her feet were bare, but this was anything but a problem since she was more than warm enough.
